Walgreens & Vitamin Angels are working to increase health equity in the U.S. by helping to remove barriers including access, education, and affordability.
Through donations from the sales of Vitamins and Supplements, Walgreens supports Vitamin Angels’ efforts to reach communities in the U.S. and around the globe. Through a network of program partners in every U.S. state and Puerto Rico we are reaching underserved pregnant women with prenatal vitamins and minerals and nutrition education. Funding provided through the partnership has also allowed Vitamin Angels to expand its outreach and program expansion capacity. For example, the organization developed an assessment tool that identifies the areas of greatest need across the U.S. and uses that information to expand its reach to those areas.
