SUCCESS AND IMPACTS
Every mother, everywhere
2,755
women and their babies reached with prenatal vitamins since 2013
Almost three-quarters of Wyoming’s counties are considered frontiers, meaning there are less than six people per square mile.
Whether it’s lack of reliable transportation, the extra cost of gas and an overnight stay, or the inability to get time off or find childcare, accessing prenatal care as a pregnant woman living in a rural area can be challenging.
When Vitamin Angels’ program partners distribute free prenatal vitamins and minerals during routine care appointments, they save women more than just the cost of vitamins. With one less trip or task and the confidence of knowing they are receiving a quality product, expecting moms can focus their energy on taking care of themselves and their babies.
